Does Charm Restoration perform the rebuild?

We’d appreciate the opportunity to continue our customer success with you and perform the rebuild. It will be a different team that handles the day-to-day supervision.

When does rebuild start?

Charm will provide an estimate to your claims adjustor. This adjustor may visit your home. The faster Charm Restoration and you, the homeowner, provide all the required documents, the faster approval is achieved.

Water Mitigation Process

What's the first thing to do when I notice water damage?

Let’s identify the source of water and get it shut off. Sometime’s it’s a local issue, such as water value underneath the counters. Or, shut the main water value off to the house. The main value is typically located outside, in the front yard, and often with a hose bib on the same line. This shuts water off to the entire house; open the hose bib to drain the lines.

How quickly will Charm Restoration start?

Once onsite, our project manager will assess the scene first for safety hazards. Next, a work scope will be provided that states what Charm Restoration intends to perform. At this point, homeowners will need to approve a work authorization for work to commence.

How long is the water mitigation process?

After receiving approval, you can expect 3 key phases for water mitigation services. Water extraction, demolition and drying.

Water extraction may take 1-3 hours depending on the volume. Drying is often 3-4 days to make sure all materials are properly dried. And demolition may take a day, depending on the volume of water damage repairs needed.

Will you demo a lot?

For water damage repair, each project is unique and factors such as volume of water, duration of saturation and type of materials affected all determine the final demolition. Our intent is to only remove / demo what needs to be repaired due to significant water damage.

How long will the drying be?

Unfortunately, fans can be loud due to the nature of pushing air. These fans have to run constantly for up to 3-4 days often.
